12 hours after my last Tafe class had finished, I was sitting on a plane Fiji bound. My long awaited break from work and classes ahhhhh. My last holiday was 20 months ago so this was long overdue.
A short 4 hour flight and a quick overnight at the Novotel Hotel Nadi and I had arrived at my home away from home for the next 8 nights Treasure Island Resort. The resort is located in the Mamanuka Islands about 17km from Nadi airport via launch Transfer. You can actually fly and transfer on the same day, but I chose not too. It was a bit of a weird feeling having a holiday where I am staying long enough to unpack.
Bula and Welcome Back! I was at Treasure Island back in July, I am a Photography student so I spent most of the time doing assisnments, but I did have the perfect location to get some quick images during a weekend.
I really didn't think I would be back so quickly, but the first trip was too short so I had to came again and surprisingly some of the staff remembered me.
Volley Ball became my late afternoon ritual, everyday at 5pm staff and guests would play. I would be there without fail armed with my Canon 7D and flash ready for some action. Here is some of the photos I took.
